Wash the pork knuckle, cut it in half and then chop into pieces.

Blanch the pork knuckle in boiling water; remove.

Wash and peel the turnip, cut into pieces.

Add some water in a clay pot. Except the pork knuckle and the turnips, place all the other Ingredients into a muslin bag and throw it into the pot.

Add in the Seasonings and the pork knuckle.

Cover to cook. When it boils, turn the heat down and keep cooking for about 30 minutes.

Add the turnips and cook for a further 10 minutes.

Remove the muslin bag to serve. |
