Mix 1 teaspoon baking soda with 4 cups of warm water, immerse tofu sheets for 15 minutes until tofu sheets change to an off white color.

Wash, cut and blanch the cabbage, and squeeze the water from the cabbage. Chop cabbage to smaller pieces.
